1. Acceptance
Welcome to InvestEd.
By using the-invested.com, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, you can't use the site.
We may update these Terms. Continued use means you accept updates.
2. What InvestEd is (and isn't)
What InvestEd is: An educational planning tool that:
- Simulates financial scenarios month-by-month
- Shows feasibility, timelines, and failure points
- Explains results in plain language (via optional AI)
What InvestEd is not:
- Not financial advice. We don't recommend securities, financial products, tax positions, or legal structures, and we don't tell you what to do with your money. InvestEd ranks the approaches you choose between, on a metric you select, using only the figures youenter — and shows what each one costs. Acting on that is your decision; we never make a change to your plan for you.
- Not a prediction. We don't forecast markets, rates, or economic conditions.
- Not a guarantee.Your real-world results may differ based on factors we can't simulate.
- Not a substitute for professionals. If you need advice, hire a licensed advisor and/or seek professional tax guidance.
3. Estimates and assumptions
All calculations, projections, and AI-generated explanations are estimates based on user inputs and stated assumptions. Actual outcomes may differ.
You are responsible for reviewing results and validating decisions with qualified professionals before taking action.
4. Your responsibility
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information to the best of your knowledge

8. AI explanations
How it works:
- Calculations are done by our engine (deterministic math)
- AI explains results in plain language
- AI doesn't compute outcomes—it interprets them
AI limitations:
- Responses are generated by third-party models
- AI may occasionally be unclear or incomplete
- AI doesn't give advice—it explains math
You're responsible for verifying AI explanations against raw results.
See our AI Principles for details.
