Tell InvestEd your situation. Get a month-by-month plan in minutes.
Start the way you like — answer a short guided form, or just describe your situation and let the AI set it up. Either way, the same deterministic engine runs the numbers. Three situations below; pick the one that matches where you are right now.

Pay off debt
One loan or several. Choose what “done” means to you — debt-free as fast as possible, the least total interest, or a lower monthly payment — and the engine shows every payoff month and every dollar of interest saved.
Make an investment or large purchase
Property, stocks or funds, a business, or any large purchase. Enter the cost, your equity, any financing, and monthly contributions — then read the projected value at your horizon.
Balance debt + investing
You're paying down debt but also want to grow money. Tell the engine your priority — clear debt first, keep investing, both equally, or the most at your horizon — and compare the trade-offs side by side.
Answer questions, or just describe it
When you open the planner you'll choose how to set up your scenario. Both paths feed the same engine and land you in the same Your Horizon dashboard — pick whichever feels faster.
Step-by-step
Answer a short, guided 4-step form. The questions adapt to your situation — you only ever see the fields that change your outcome.
AI-assisted
Describe your situation in plain language and let InvestEd set up the scenario for you. You review and confirm everything before any math runs.
How the planner works
The guided form walks through four focused steps. No spreadsheet required. (The AI-assisted path collects the same information as a conversation and confirms it with you before running.)
Tell us your situation
Pick one of the three situations above, then enter your annual income, monthly contribution, horizon, and currency (22 supported). The form adapts — debt-only users never see investment fields, and vice versa.
Set up your plan
Investment paths: the cost, your equity, expected growth rate, and asset class — residential or commercial property, stocks/funds, a business, or other. Debt paths: your payoff goal. Balance paths: whether you're buying something or investing monthly, plus your priority.
Add loans and injections
Enter each loan — principal, APR, tenure. Add one-time lump sums at specific months if relevant (bonus, tax refund, gift). The engine matches Avalanche or Snowball to your goal automatically — and you can override the payoff order yourself.
Read Your Horizon
Your Horizon opens on the Decision Summary — a plain-language verdict, 4 KPI cards, and a contribution-flow Sankey. Nine views in all (Wealth Trajectory, What-If, Loan Breakdown, Decision Confidence, Cash Flow & Monthly Ledger, Strategy Comparison, AI Insights, Run JSON) sit one sidebar click away.
Inside Your Horizon
Your Horizon has the same nine views for every plan. The Decision Summary loads first — the rest live in the left sidebar, one click away. Ordered by the question they answer for you.
Decision Summary
MAIN VIEWA plain-language verdict — whether your plan is feasible, a stretch, or not yet feasible. The 4 KPI cards chosen for your scenario, the Plan Outcome explanation, and the Sankey tracing every dollar of contribution. If a plan isn't feasible, it says why and points to the levers that could close the gap. Figures reflect tax where it applies.
Wealth Trajectory
Net worth curve across the full horizon. Horizon-summary strip (Projected value · Target · Value above target). Cumulative interest vs paying minimums only. Cumulative liquid cash freed.
What-If Comparison
Debt paths: “What if you contribute more?” — payoff month + interest delta. Investment paths: “What if growth drops 2%?” — projected-value delta. Side-by-side against your current plan.
Loan Breakdown
Per-loan amortisation — month, payment, interest, principal, balance. Each loan classified (Credit Card, Mortgage, Auto). The recommended method highlighted in green next to the minimum-payment baseline.
Decision Confidence
Plan Strength across four dimensions, each with a plain-language score — Financial Health, Interest Efficiency (debt) or Capital Return (invest), Risk Signals. Add a few more inputs to sharpen every score.
Cash Flow & Monthly Ledger
Year filter (Y1–Y5) re-scopes the KPIs and the bar chart. Outflow vs surplus, 12 months at a time. The full ledger — every month, every cell shows its work.
Strategy Comparison
DUAL-TRACKBalance paths only. Debt First vs Invest Continuous, side by side. Apply either with one click and the whole dashboard recalculates around it.
AI Insights
A grounded AI companion that only cites the engine's deterministic numbers. Intent-aware — debt-only paths won't see growth references, and vice versa. Answers come back with the math, not vibes.
Run JSON
POWER VIEWThe full engine response — inputs and result side by side. Copy-to-clipboard for support tickets, sanity checks, or pasting into a spreadsheet.
Refine without re-running the wizard
The dashboard doesn't lock once it loads. These controls let you keep tightening the plan in place.
Re-anchor with the start-date picker
Top-right of every page, under “Plan execution start.” Pick any month/year and hit Recalculate — every chart, calendar label, and ledger month re-anchors. Useful for sketching “what if I start in January?” vs starting now.
Tune the split on balance plans
For debt-and-invest plans, a 0–100 slider plus quick “Steer” chips (most at horizon, clear debt, keep investing) let you shift money between paying down debt and investing — and watch the whole plan update in place.
Add inputs in Decision Confidence
Click “Modify inputs” → enter liquid assets, fixed monthly obligations, income volatility, emergency-fund months, and more. Every score sharpens, and a green “N applied” pip confirms the values are saved for the scenario's lifetime.
Ask the AI Companion
The AI panel knows your scenario's deterministic KPIs. Ask “why is my plan strength only 76?” or “what if I contribute $1,800?” — it answers with the math, never hallucinations.
Save and compare versions
No account is required to run a plan — your answers stay in this browser until you choose to save. If you want to keep them:
- Save up to 6 named versions of a scenario in My Repo
- Re-run any version with updated assumptions, and compare them side by side
- Scenarios are private to your account — never shared
- Sign in with just your email — we send a 6-digit code, good for 10 minutes. No password to create or remember.
Grounded in your numbers, never beyond
The AI shows up in two places — it can set up your scenario from a plain-language description before any math runs, and it explains your results afterward. It never computes the numbers; the engine does. Ask things like:
- “Why is the balanced split better than debt-first?”
- “What's the biggest factor driving my payoff?”
- “If I add $200/month, what changes?”
- “Compare my scenario at a 5% growth rate.”
